Whether you want to develop your own training, or follow the way we deliver ours, our train-the-trainer process with give you a solid foundation of knowledge, awareness of how to deliver trauma-informed training, and an opportunity to consider how you might respond to some of the challenges you may face when delivering active bystander training.

If you follow our 90 minute Active Bystander training process and use our resources the training you deliver with be CPD Accredited.

Who is this training suitable for?

Any experienced trainer who is looking to add Active Bystander training to the portfolio of topics they already train on. You may join this training to deliver in-house training for the organisation you work for, or to deliver training to external clients.

What training will I be able to deliver afterwards?

You can develop your own training afterwards, or you can deliver our Active Bystander training course.

How do I become a Associate Trainer?

After completing our three day train-the-trainer process you can apply to be an Associate Trainer at no extra cost. You will need to provide evidence of previous training you have delivered. Complete a self-reflective process regarding your professional development. And provide feedback and references from two organisations you deliver this training to. Associate Trainers will need to attend an annual refresher session with us to ensure the material they are using is up to date. We will refer to our Associate Trainers on our website, both to promote their services and to have a way of validating who our Associates are.

Are there restrictions on using Consent Collective resources?

After completing this training you will be able to use our training materials to deliver live training in house, or to clients. This training material is protected by copyright. You may not use the same materials to create recordings, online courses, or any other digital or reproducible resources. The CPD accreditation you will have access to will expire in 2027.

Is this training only valid for a certain period of time?

We recommend that you attend a refresher session with us after three years to ensure your learning is still up to date. We will also be reviewing and refreshing our learning materials and CPD Accreditation every three years and attending a refresher will give you access to these materials.

Is this suitable for Higher Education Institutions?

This training is suitable for use with staff in higher education settings but is not designed for use with students.
