Sometimes you don't realise how much you were in need of help until someone says 'How can we help you?'. Sometimes life teaches you the most profound political lessons by wrapping them up in love.
We're back from our trip to Whidbey Island in the USA and we're processing our time there and the path ahead. We feel energised. We feel seen. We feel loved. We feel nourished from the root upwards.
In this episode of 'Talking in circles' our conversation meanders around these feelings as we reflect on holding ceremony, the beginning of autumn, the nourishment of having elders in your life, and marking a year on the road whilst feeling the depths of where this journey could take us.
Pop on the kettle and join us as we meander across this beautiful terrain.
In the photo - a Mother Tree at Whidbey Institute. We're told it survived previous clear cutting because it was a little bit crooked and therefore of less value to the timber industry.
